To rewrite or to just write; that is the question. With inspiration to rewrite my first manuscript do I do that or do I write a second completely different manuscript so I can learn some new techniques and wet my feet with a new topic?
I want to work on Koi and make it a modern day frog prince short story.
And I want to write a dystopian novel: Silver, about Gage Masters a son of the higher ups with the ability to always know the truth but an understanding that just because he knows it doesn`t mean he can express it so other will believe. Set in a world where after war the higher ups decided evil and good will always exist but will best thrive segregated so upon coming-of-age, members of society are divided according their natures.
And I want to rewrite the Book of Nate which will hopefully one day have a more deserving title. I want to take out Elias and maybe even Celest and all those humans dragging it down and just make it simple a story about a boy who dies without dying leaving behind his fairly good life, including his girlfriend of his dreams Celest, who in the end realizes Heaven and Hell need him more than Earth does.
I feel good about all this inspiration but where to go with it all except maybe right now I should just go home!
